Why I designed it
I wanted to create something that makes everyday life a little easier for dogs — without feeling like a piece of pet equipment in your home. Dogs should be able to be part of all the little moments, whether that means joining you on the sofa or curling up beside you in bed. And if we can make those moments a little gentler on their joints and hips, even better.
What it took to get it right
Creating a dog stair that actually feels at home in your living space was just as important as making it functional. We wanted it to be lightweight and soft, while still having enough structure to stay stable and hold its shape when your dog uses it. The result is a simple, multifunctional design that works for both dogs and their humans.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
